This is taken outside the Cheong Fatt Tze mansion. It was shot from outside so the angle is a bit weird but I like it.
This man was one of the sailors of the Jewel of Muscat from Oman. The Jewel of Muscat was a 9th-century sailing ship. They replicate the ship and it was put on show in Penang. To find out more, please go to Jewel of Muscat website (http://www.jewelofmuscat.tv/).
I went around town looking for objects to photograph. I came to this one and was surprised to see this butterfly/moth. It's an addition to the lock :) I hope you like it.

The Queen Victoria Memorial Clocktower was built to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria by one of those distinguished Chinese millionaires eager to flaunt their wealth in the eyes of their British administrators. The Victoria Memorial Clocktower at King Edward Place, Penang, was built by local Penang millionaire Cheah Chen Eok in 1897 to commemorate the sixtieth year of the Queen's reign. The tower was sixty feet tall, with each foot for each year of the Queen's reign. Unfortunately, she never visited Penang, nor did she ever live long enough to see her clocktower completed. By the time it was completed in 1902, the Queen had died. (Source: http://www.penang-traveltips.com/queen-victoria-memorial-clocktower.htm)
I forgot where I parked my car so I had to find a vantage point.
